PROBLEM SOLVING34 XEROX WIDE FORMAT 721P PRINTER OPERATOR MANUALClearing Media Jam (J-01 & J-02)When a jam J-01 occurs, the media jams while feeding from Roll 1in the top drawer.When a jam J-02 occurs, the media jams while feeding from Roll 2in the middle drawer.1. Open the drawer indicated by the jam code.2. Open the Right Side Door and turn the Inner TransportAssembly handle to release the transport. Lower and lock thetransport by engaging the Down Lock.3. If the media is not cut and the leading edge of the media hasreached the Drum or beyond the Drum, rotate the Cutterhandle to cut the media. Continue rotating the cutter handleso that the green home position indicator appears in the cutout.4. If the leading edge of the media has reached the Fuser Unit,open the Exit Cover and remove the jammed media by rotatingthe Fuser Handle.5. Release the Down Lock while holding the handle of InnerTransport Assembly and lift it up gently until it stops. Thentwist the handle to the left to move the transport to the homeposition. Finally, turn the handle to the right to lock thetransport.6. Manually rewind the roll until the lead edge of the media is freeof the feed rollers.7.
