With the BIP for Over-the-Air SIM provisioning, the data transfer from and to the SIM uses either an already active PDP context or a new PDP contextestablished with the APN provided by the SIM card. For more details, see the u-blox AT commandsmanual [2].1.14.10 AssistNow clients and GNSS integration☞ AssistNow clients and u-blox GNSS receiver integration are not supported by TOBY-R200-02B-00and TOBY-R202-02B-00 type numbers. For customers using u-blox GNSS receivers, the TOBY-R2 series cellular modules feature embeddedAssistNow clients. AssistNow A-GPS provides better GNSS performance and fasterTime-To-First-Fix. The clients can be enabled and disabled with an AT command (see the u-blox ATcommands manual [2]).TOBY-R2 series cellular modules act as a stand-alone AssistNow client, making AssistNow availablewith no additional requirements for resources or software integration on an external host microcontroller. Full access to u-blox GNSS receivers is available via the TOBY-R2 series cellular module, through the DDC (I2C) interface, while the available GPIOs can handle the positioning chipset / modulepower-on/off. This means that cellular module and GNSS receiver can be controlled through a singleserial port from any host processor.
