Telematics gateway unitTelematics gateway can determinethe geographic position of the vehiclethrough GPS-positioning. The GPSunit calculates the position with thehelp of signals from at least threesatellites. The accuracy of calculationincreases as the number of satellitesthe GPS unit is in contact with thevehicle’s system. The GPS antennais placed on the truck roof (combinedGSM/GPS-antenna).NOTEDo not place any metal objectsover the antenna on the roof.NOTED o n o t p l a c e a n y o t h e rtransmitting antennas closerthan 30 cm from the GPS/GSM-antenna. |
