M I L(Malfunction Indicator Lamp) symbolilluminates in the event of emissionrelated errors. Stop the vehicle andc h e c k t h e r e a s o n f o r l a m pillumination. Contact UD Trucksauthorised dealer for assistance.AdBlue levelTo check the amount of AdBlue inthe tank, use the “Fuel Data” menuon the display and select “AdBlue”. Iti s a n a d v a n t a g e t o h a v e t h i sselected as a favorite menu, see thesection Display. When amount ofA d B l u e r e d u c e s i n t h e t a n k(approximately 10%), the informationlamp will light and a message will bed i s p l a y e d t o d r i v e r, t o p u p w i t hAdBlue.If the tank for AdBlue is empty thefollowing message is shown on thedisplay, along with the informationlamp and the MIL symbol. Fill thetank immediately with AdBlue.Monitoring system for emissioncontrolI f a f a u l t o c c u r s i n t h e N O xmonitoring system then a message isshown on the display together withthe yellow warning lamp (CHECK)and the MIL symbol. If the systemdetects that the fault persists thenthe engine's output is reduced by40% of maximum output. Engineoutput returns to normal when thesystem detects that the fault hasbeen rectified.Dosing system for emission con-trolIf a fault occurs in the NOx dosingsystem then a message is shown onthe display together with the yellowwarning lamp (CHECK).WARNINGD r i v i n g w i t h o u t A d b l u e i ncertain regions is a punishableoffence. Do not drive withoutAdBlue or interfere with theexhaust cleaning system. |
