1.INTRODUCTION AND SAFETY1-241.13 Modification and replacement - Pneumatic and electrical systemDo not modifyContact the nearest UD Trucksauthorised dealer for advice beforeinstalling any accessories.Do not modify pneumatic units.Electrical welding work.When performing electrical welding,the electric current of the weldingmachine could flow back into theground circuit and damage theelectrical control unit; preventing itfrom functioning normally, so be sureto observe the following items.1. Turn the starter ignition switch tothe OFF position2. Disconnect the battery's negative(–) terminal.3. Be sure to ground the welding unitclose to the weld contact area.4. When the work is complete, checkto make sure that all units arefunctioning normally.5.
