This sectiond e s c r i b e s s i m p l e m e t h o d s o fmaintenance that can be performedb y c u s t o m e r s . F o r d e t a i l e dinspections and maintenance, orparts that cannot be serviced by theuser, contact the nearest UD Trucksauthorised dealer.When performing inspections andservice, pay attention to the followingitems:• Select a safe location.• Maintain safe working conditions.• Use appropriate tools.• Stop the engine before inspec-tion.• Engage the parking brake lever tothe park position.• Make sure that wheels aresecured with wheel chocks, toavoid vehicle movement.• The jack provided below thedriver seat should be used onlyfor changing the tyre.Cab tilting1. Park the vehicle on a levelsurface.2. Apply the parking brake.3. Switch OFF the engine.4. Make sure there is sufficientspace in front and above thecab.5. Make sure that there are noloose objects which could fallforward and cause damage.6. Close the doors.7. Chock all the wheels.8. Open the front panel.CAUTIONAlways keep open the frontpanel before tilting the cab toavoid damage to the vehicle.NOTEThe cab tilting wrench is placedinside the front panel. |
