Unit has asolid base that will not allow unit to drain below itself. The CLR2060 can be installed using a Gravity Drain, aFactory-Installed Drain Pump (U-Line P60) or a Locally-Installed Drain Pump. Drain lines must have a 5/8-inchinside diameter. The floor drain must be large enough toaccommodate drainage from all attached drains.Follow these guidelines when installing drain lines toprevent water from flowing back into the ice makerstorage bin and/or potentially flowing onto the floor, causing water damage:Gravity DrainA Gravity Drain may be used if:• Drain line has at least a 1-inch drop per 48 inches ofrun (1/4 inch per foot).• Drain line does not create traps or created traps arevented (see Figure 30).See Figure 31 for a typical Gravity Drain installation.NotchSlottedMountingHolesRaiseOutsideDoor EdgeLowerOutsideDoor EdgeFigure 28DoorCloserInsertsBossFigure 296 Prepare PlumbingNormalProper DrainWith TrapPoor Drainage, Water Will Back UpWith Trap and VentProper DrainFigure 30
