73Using the MenuWhen you select [YES], you can create anew folder (102MSDCF to 999MSDCF) ona “Memory Stick Duo.” When a folder isfull (a maximum of 9,999 images arestored), a new folder is automaticallycreated.b Notes• You cannot delete the created folders using yourcamcorder. You will have to format the“Memory Stick Duo” (p. 72), or delete themusing your computer.• The number of recordable pictures on a“Memory Stick Duo” may decrease as thenumber of folders increases.You can select the folder to be used forrecording by turning the SEL/PUSH EXECdial, then press the dial.z Tips• As the default setting, pictures are saved in the101MSDCF folder.• Once you record a picture in a folder, the samefolder will be set as the default folder forplayback.You can select the playback folder byturning the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial, thenpress the dial.NEW FOLDERREC FOLDER (Recording folder)PB FOLDER (Playback folder)(OTHERS) menuSettings while recording on a tape or otherbasic settings (USB SELECT/QUICK REC/BEEP, etc.)The default settings are marked with B.The indicators in parentheses appear whenthe items are selected.See page 56 for details on selectingmenu items.You can save up to two kinds of camerasetups in your camcorder as cameraprofiles.
