Note thatformatting erases all information on the“Memory Stick Duo.”• You may not be able to play back images withyour camcorder:– When playing back image data modified onyour computer.– When playing back image data recorded withother devices.About the“InfoLITHIUM” batterypackThis unit is compatible with an“InfoLITHIUM” battery pack (L series).Your camcorder operates only with an“InfoLITHIUM” battery pack.“InfoLITHIUM” L series battery packshave the mark.What is an “InfoLITHIUM” batterypack?An “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack is alithium-ion battery pack that has functionsfor communicating information related tooperating conditions between yourcamcorder and an optional AC Adaptor/charger.The “InfoLITHIUM” battery packcalculates the power consumptionaccording to the operating conditions ofyour camcorder, and displays the remainingbattery time in minutes.With an AC Adaptor/charger, the remainingbattery time and charging time appear.To charge the battery pack• Be sure to charge the battery pack before youstart using your camcorder.• We recommend charging the battery pack in anambient temperature of between 10 °C to 30 °C(50 °F to 86 °F) until the CHARGE lamp turnsoff. If you charge the battery pack outside of thistemperature range, you may not be able tocharge it efficiently.• After charging is complete, disconnect the cablefrom the DC IN jack on your camcorder orremove the battery pack.To use the battery pack effectively• Battery pack performance decreases when thesurrounding temperature is 10 °C (50 °F) orbelow, and the length of time you can use thebattery pack becomes shorter.
