463 Check the stored settings1 Press the ASSIGN button 1 repeatedlyto bring up the SHOT TRANSITIONCHECK screen.2 Press the ASSIGN button 2 to checkthe SHOT-A. Press the ASSIGN button3 to check the SHOT-B.The selected setting will take effect onthe picture on the screen. The focus,zoom, and so on, are automaticallyadjusted as stored in the setting.b Note• You cannot check the transition time andcurve set using [SHOT TRANS] (p. 62).4 Record using the shot transitionfunction1 Press the ASSIGN button 1 repeatedlyto bring up the SHOT TRANSITIONEXEC screen.2 Press the REC START/STOP button.3 Press the ASSIGN button 2 to recordmovie using the SHOT-A. Press theASSIGN button 3 to record movieusing the SHOT-B.Pictures will be recorded with thesettings that are changed automaticallyfrom the current ones to the storedones.z Tip• Press the ASSIGN button 1 repeatedly tocancel the SHOT TRANSITION.b Notes• You cannot zoom, focus, or adjust manuallywhile checking or activating the Shot transition.• When you change [SHOT TRANS] (p. 62),press the ASSIGN button 1 repeatedly to exitthe shot transition screen.• You cannot return from the stored SHOT-A orSHOT-B settings to previous settings after youactivate the shot transition during recording.• If you press the following buttons during theshot transition operation, the operation iscanceled:– PICTURE PROFILE– MENU– EXPANDED FOCUS– STATUS CHECKz Tips• You can also make a transition from savedSHOT-A to saved SHOT-B or vice versa. Forexample, to make a transition from SHOT-A toSHOT-B. Display the shot transition CHECKscreen, press the ASSIGN button 2 and press theREC START/STOP button.
