101TroubleshootingWarning indicators and messagesIf indicators appear on the LCD screen or inthe viewfinder, check the following.Some symptoms you can fix by yourself. Ifthe problem persists even after you havetried a couple of times, contact your Sonydealer or local authorized Sony servicefacility.C: (or E:) ss:ss (Self-diagnosisdisplay)C:04:ss• The battery pack is not an“InfoLITHIUM” battery pack. Use an“InfoLITHIUM” battery pack (p. 108).• Connect the DC plug of the ACAdaptor to the DC IN jack of yourcamcorder securely (p. 18).C:21:ss• Moisture condensation has occurred.Remove the cassette and leave yourcamcorder for at least 1 hour, then re-insert the cassette (p. 111).C:22:ss• Clean the head using a cleaningcassette (optional) (p. 112).C:31:ss / C:32:ss• Symptoms that are not described abovehave occurred. Remove and insert thecassette, then operate your camcorderagain. Do not perform this procedure ifmoisture condensation has occurred(p. 111).• Remove the power source. Reconnect itand operate your camcorder again.• Change the cassette.
