Once theinformation is entered, and your phone is recognized, theinformation is not required again. The first connection mustbe completed using a direct connection with a cradle, not amodem.Perform a HotSync the First Time1. Connect your phone cradle to the desktop computer andplug in the power cord.2. Launch the Palm Desktop application on the desktopcomputer. For information on installing the PalmDesktop application, see "Installing the Palm DesktopSoftware" on page 15.3. Click on the HotSync icon located in the Windowstask bar to open the HotSync Manager.4. Click “Local” from the HotSync Managers menu.5. Turn on your phone, and slide it into the cradle. A click isheard and the charging light turns on when properlyinserted.
