English 13 |02 Getting StartedInstalling batteries in the Remote ControlBattery size: AAA21| NOTES | Make sure to match the “+” and “–” ends of thebatteries with the diagram inside the compartment. Assuming typical TV usage, the batteries last for aboutone year. The remote control can be used up to approximately 7meters from the product in a straight line.Setting up the Remote ControlYou can control certain functions of your TV with thisremote control.To operate a TV with the Remote Control1. Press the TV button to set the remote control to TVmode.2. Turn on your TV.3. While holding down the POWER button, enter thecode corresponding to your brand of TV.• If there is more than one code listed for your TV inthe table, enter one at a time to determine whichcode works.• Example : For a Samsung TVWhile holding down the POWER button, usethe number buttons to enter 00. If that does notwork, try 15, then 16, etc.4. If the TV turns off, the setting is complete.• You can use the TV POWER, VOLUME,CHANNEL, and Numeric buttons (0~9).| NOTES | The remote may not be able to control somefunctions, depending on your brand of TV. Also, theremote control may not work on some brands of TVs. The remote control will work with Samsung TVs bydefault. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
