BEFORE OPERATIONCheck points after installation58 EnglishTrial operationBefore the trial operation, check the following list toprotect the product.PRECAUTIONS BEFORETRIAL OPERATIONŷWhen the outdoor temperature is low, turn on themain power 6 hours before starting the operation.- If you start operation immediately after turningon the main power, it may cause serious damageto the product.ŷDo not touch the refrigerant pipe during or rightafter the operation.- Refrigerant pipe may be hot or cold duringor right after the operation depending on thestatus of the refrigerant which flows through therefrigerant pipe, compressor and other parts ofthe refrigerant cycle. If you touch the pipe duringor right after the operation, you may get burnsor frostbite.ŷDo not operate the product with its panel orprotection nets off.- There is risk of personal injury from the partsthat rotates, heated or with the high voltage.ŷDo not turn off the main power immediately afterstopping the operation.- Wait for at least 5 minutes before turning offthe main power. If not, water leakage or otherproblems may occur.ŷTrial operation should be done after installation andhydro controller option setting are finished.ŷPurge air with water within the water system.f Is the power correctly connected?- 3 Phase 3 Wires 208~230V and 3 Phase 3 Wires460Vf Is the grounding work properly done?f Is the pump interlock circuit connected?- Only applied to non-pump modelsf Is the strainer (50 Mesh) properly installed at waterinlet?f Is water flowing in water system?- Make sure water in the water system flowsproperly before supplying the power.- Make sure if concentration of brine is maintainedproperly due to the usage temperature rangewhen operating cool storage.- Be aware of supplying power and controllingvalves on water pipe system due to pumpoperation during winter time for freezeprevention when the outdoor temperature dropsbelow 0°C (32°F). Countermeasure to preventwater pipe system and heat exchanger fromfreezing due to low external temperature whennot operating is necessary.ex) Using brine according to using temperature, pumpoperation, heaterf Is the pump full?- Open the water supply valve and make watersystem full. Vent air at the same time.- Check if water is full by opening air vent valveinside of the product or side of load heatexchanger (such as fan coil unit) and close the airvent valve.- Refer to page 22 for place of air vent valve anddrain plug.f Is water pipe work (strainer, air vent valve, automaticsupply valve, place of expansion vessel, etc.) doneproperly?f Operate the pump separately after supplying water.Is there no air in water system? Is the flow rate ofwater system enough for operation?- When there is air or insufficient amount of waterflowing, it may cause plate type heat exchangerto freeze.- Check the flow rate is rated after checkingpressure loss of each product.- If there is a problem and cannot solve it, stop thetrial operation and contact the service center.
