09 Tuner Setup34EnClearing the passwordUse the following procedure to clear the password.1 Press HOME MENU.2 Select “Tuner Setup”. ( / then ENTER)3 Select “Parental Control”. ( / then ENTER)4 Select “Password”. ( / then ENTER)5 Select “Clear Password”. ( / then ENTER)Parental Control PasswordChange PasswordPasswordxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxClear PasswordExitHome Menu6 Enter the current 4-digit password, using buttons 0 – 9.• A confirmation screen appears.7 Press A.8 Press HOME MENU to exit the menu.• The above procedure will reset the password to the factory default(1234).Activating the Parental Control1 Press HOME MENU.2 Select “Tuner Setup”. ( / then ENTER)3 Select “Parental Control”. ( / then ENTER)4 Select “Status”. ( / then ENTER)5 Select “On”. ( / then ENTER)• The password entry screen appears. Enter your 4-digitpassword using buttons 0 – 9.6 Press HOME MENU to exit the menu.• If you select “Off” in step 5, then select “Reset on Startup” or “Don’tReset”. With “Reset on Startup” selected, the Parental Control isautomatically activated when the power to the system is turned offand on. With “Don’t Reset” selected, the Parental Control remains offwhen the power to the system is off and on.Setting the voluntary movie rating system(MPAA)1 Press HOME MENU.2 Select “Tuner Setup”. ( / then ENTER)3 Select “Parental Control”. ( / then ENTER)4 Select “MPAA Ratings”. ( / then ENTER)5 Select the desired rating and change the setting. Enter your 4-digitpassword using buttons 0 – 9.• Each time you press ENTER, the setting is switched.• A lock icon appears beside the blocked rating.• All the ratings have been unblocked before shipment.6 Press HOME MENU to exit the menu.• Blocking a rating causes more severe ratings to be automaticallyblocked as well. Likewise, unblocking a rating causes less severeratings to be automatically unblocked.We suggest you write down your password so you don’t forget it.PRO-1120HD/PRO-920HDYour password No.:If you forget the passwordWhen the message “Enter your Password” is displayed instep 6 under “Clearing the password”, press the ENTERbutton on the remote control unit and hold it down for 3seconds or longer.The password reverts to “1234”.
