Before you start 0115En• The HDD is very delicate. If usedimproperly or in an unsuitableenvironment, it is possible that the HDDwill fail after a few years of use. Signs ofproblems include playback unexpectedlyfreezing and noticeable block noise(mosaic) in the picture. However,sometimes there will be no warningsigns of HDD failure. If the HDD fails, noplayback of recorded material will bepossible. In this case it will be necessaryto replace the HDD unit.Optimizing HDD performanceAs you record and edit material on the HDD,the data on the disk becomes fragmented,eventually affecting the recorder’sperformance.
