24Initialize the cameraUse the DIP switch to initialize the camera.Important:The settings including the network settings will be initialized. Note that the preset position settings will not be ini-tialized.Step 1Detach the housing attachment base, and then flip theprotection sheet on the upper portion of the sun shield.• Refer to the operating instructions of the housingattachment base for how to detach the sun shield.Step 2Set DIP switch 1 to "ON".• The default positions of each DIP switch are OFF.Step 3Attach the housing attachment base.Step 4Turn on the power of the camera. ( page 13)• Look inside the camera from the dome cover sideand confirm that the power LED (green) and the SDmemory card error LED (red) are blinking. Whenthey are blinking, the initialization is completed.* When looking inside the camera from the part indi-cated by the arrow mark in the illustration, the LEDscan be found as shown in the illustration "View frombelow".Step 5Turn off the power of the camera, and then detach thehousing attachment base.Step 6Set DIP switch 1 to "OFF".• Put the protection sheet back into place as it wasafter setting DIP switch 1 to "OFF".Important:When DIP switch 1 is in the "ON" position, the cam-era will not be operated in normal state. Make surethat DIP switch 1 is in the "OFF" position.Step 7Attach the housing attachment base.Step 8Turn on the power of the camera.
