22Important:Before inserting the mini SD memory card, turn off the power of the camera first.Insert a mini SD memory cardStep 1Position the camera in order to see the upper portion ofthe sun shield.• When attaching to the housing attachment base,detach the sun shield from the housing attachmentbase. Refer to the operating instructions of thehousing attachment base for how to detach the sunshield.Step 2Flip the protection sheet as shown in the illustration.Step 3Insert the mini SD memory card into the mini SD cardmemory slot.• Put the protection sheet back into place as it wasafter inserting the mini SD memory card.Important:The mini SD memory card should be inserted withthe insertion direction as printed on the protectionsheet. If it is inserted with wrong insertion directionwith force, it may cause malfunction.Step 4Attach the sun shield to the housing attachment base.Refer to the operating instructions of the housing attachment base for how to attach the sun shield.Step 5Select "Use" for "SD memory card" on the [SD memory card] tab of "Basic Setup" on the setup menu.
