( pages 4 and 5: How to display/operate the setup menu) Alarm output terminal setupThe settings relating to the alarm out terminal can be configured in this section. Refer to pages 31 and 32 for furtherinformation about the settings relating to the alarm, and the alarm image.[Alarm output trigger]Select "On" or "Off" to determine whether or not to out-put the alarm signals to the alarm output terminal whenan alarm is detected.Default: Off[Alarm output type]Select "Latch" or "Pulse" for the alarm output terminal atan alarm occurrence.Latch: When an alarm is detected, the alarm output ter-minal will be in the state selected for "Trigger output"until the alarm occurrence indication button isclicked.Pulse: When an alarm is detected, the alarm output ter-minal will be in the state to the "Trigger output" set-ting for the period set for "Pulse width".Default: Latch[Trigger output]Select "Open" or "Close" to determine whether to openor close the alarm output terminal when outputting thealarm signals.Open: The alarm output terminal will open when out-putting the alarm signals. (Normally close)Close: The alarm output terminal will close when out-putting the alarm signals. (Normally open)Default: CloseNote:When "Open" is selected, the alarm signal will beoutput for around 20 seconds when the power of thecamera is turned on.[Pulse width]When "Pulse" is selected for "Alarm output type", selectan alarm output terminal duration from the following.Available pulse width: 1 - 120 secDefault: 1 sec AUX titleThe names of "AUX", "Open" and "Close" on the "Live"page can be changed.The name of AUX is changeable only when the terminalalarm 3 is set to AUX.[AUX (Up to 10 characters)]Enter the name for "AUX" on the "Live" page.[Open (Up to 5 characters)]Enter the name for "Open" of "AUX" on the "Live" page.[Close (Up to 5 characters)]Enter the name for "Close" of "AUX" on the "Live" page.Note:AUX is a camera terminal that allows users to oper-ate (Open/Close) at will from the "Live" page. Forexample, an operator can remotely control lights in aplace where the camera is installed by connectingthe terminal to the light controller.
