20Installation of the cameraBefore starting the installation, turn off thepower of the devices including the cameraand the PC or disconnect from the powersupply.Step 1Loosen the 3 screws, detach the upper coverfrom the camera body and remove the buffer(cushioning).Step 2Line up the ends of the cables (power cord,LAN cable, audio cable and cables from anexternal device) and the safety wire, andthen bundle them using the provided cabletie.Step 3Attach the safety wire fixed with the cameramount bracket to the camera. After attachingthe safety wire to the camera, pull the safetywire and confirm that the loop at the end ofthe safety wire is securely hooked on thesafety wire holder.Important:The safety wire is designed to supportonly the weight of the camera when thecamera falls. Do not put an excessiveweight that the safety wire cannot sup-port.Step 4Connect the power cord plug, the LAN cable,the cables from the external device and theaudio cable. ( pages 22 - 24)Step 5Mount the camera onto the camera mountbracket.
