Camera19Monitoring the view from the camera (Camera monitor)You can monitor the sound and camera of the place where the camera is located.{▲ } {▲}{CAMERA}{OFF}{TALK}{BRIGHT}1 Press {CAMERA}.LThe image taken by the camera will be shown on the display, and you will hear the sound from the camera.(The sound from your end will not be heard at the camera.)LWhen 2 or more cameras are registered, press {CAMERA} repeatedly to select the desired camera.NTo speak to the other party at the camera:Press {TALK}.NTo adjust the speaker volume:Press {▲ } or {▲}.NTo adjust the display brightness:Press {BRIGHT} (page 8).2 To end monitoring, press {OFF}.Note:LMonitoring will automatically end in about 90 seconds.LWhen you receive another call from a door station or another camera while monitoring, see page 18.Quality of images taken by the camera:The quality of the images taken by the camera is a little lower than the quality of the images taken by the doorstation. The following can occur:– A moving person is blurred because of the still image.– The person’s face becomes dark when direct sunlight shines on the camera lens.– The picture color is different from the actual color.– The image looks misty under fluorescent lights.Function settings of the camera: (page 27)If required, you can change the following function settings of the camera:– When you want to zoom in the image from the camera: “ZOOM”– When you want to change the ringer pattern for the camera that rings at the time of detection: “CAM RINGER”, orwhen you want to adjust or turn off the ringer volume: “CAM RINGER VOL”– When you want to turn off the sensor, or when you want to change the time interval of detection or the automaticrecording mode setting: “SENSOR TYPE”
