English - 6 -Environmental InformationThis television is designed to be environment friendly.To reduce energy consumption, you can follow thesesteps:If you set the Power Save Mode to Eco, the TV willswitch to energy-saving mode. The Power SaveMode settings can be found in the ‘Picture’ sectionof the Main Menu. Note that some picture settings willbe unavailable to be changed.If pressed Right button while Eco option is selectedor Left button while Disabled option is selected,“Screen will be off in 15 seconds.” message will bedisplayed on the screen. Select Proceed and pressOK to turn the screen off immediately. If you don’tpress any button, the screen will be off in 15 seconds.Press any button on the remote or on the TV to turnthe screen on again.Note: If the Mode in the Picture menu is set to Dynamic,Power Save Mode will be set as Disabled and can not bechanged.When the TV is not in use, please switch off ordisconnect the TV from the mains plug. This will alsoreduce energy consumption.Standby Notifications1. If the TV does not receive any input signal (e.g.from an aerial or HDMI source) for 5 minutes, itwill go into standby. When you next switch-on,the following message will be displayed: “TVswitched to stand-by mode automaticallybecause there was no signal for a long time.”Press OK to continue.2. If the TV is on and it isn’t being operated for a whileit will go into standby.
