English - 16 -General TV OperationUsing the Channel ListThe TV sorts all stored stations in the Channel List.You can edit this channel list, set favourites or setactive stations to be listed by using the ChannelList options.Configuring Parental SettingsTo prohibit viewing of certain programmes, channels andmenus can be locked by using the parental control system.To display parental lock menu options, the PIN numbershould be entered. The factory default PIN number is0000. After coding the correct PIN number, ParentalSettings menu will be displayed.Menu Lock: Menu lock setting enables or disablesthe menu access.Maturity Lock: Restricts access to broadcastsdisplaying mature content.Child Lock: Control buttons on the TV are disabledand only remote control operation is available.Set PIN: Defines a new PIN number.Default PIN code can change depending on theselected country.If you are asked to enter a PIN code for viewing a menuoption, use one of the following codes: 4725, 0000 or 1234.Some options may not be available depending on the countryselection in the First Time Installation.Electronic Programme Guide (EPG)Some channels send information about theirbroadcast schedules. Press the Epg button to viewthe Programme Guide menu.There are 3 different types of schedule layoutsavailable, Timeline Schedule, List Schedule andNow/Next Schedule. To switch between them followthe instructions on the bottom of the screen.Timeline SchedulePrev Day (Red button): Displays the programmesof previous day.Next day (Green button): Displays the programmesof the next day.Zoom (Yellow button): Press the Yellow button tosee events in a wider time interval.Filter (Blue button): Views filtering options.Select Genre (Subtitles button): Displays SelectGenre menu. Using this feature, you can search theprogramme guide database in accordance with thegenre. Info available in the programme guide willbe searched and results matching your criteria willbe listed.Event Details (Info button): Displays detailedinformation about selected events.Jump (Numeric Buttons): Jumps to the preferredchannel directly via numeric buttons.Options (OK button): Displays event options.Search (Text button): Displays Guide Search menu.Now (Swap button): Displays current event of thehighlighted channel.List Schedule(*)(*) In this layout option, only the events of the highlightedchannel will be listed.Prev. Time Slice (Red button): Displays the eventsof previous time slice.Prev Day (Yellow button): Displays the events ofprevious day.Jump (Numeric Buttons): Jumps to the preferredchannel directly via numeric buttons.Event Details (Info button): Displays detailedinformation about selected events.Filter (Text button): Views filtering options.Next Time Slice (Green button): Displays the eventsof next time slice.Next Day (Blue button): Displays the events ofnext day.Options (OK button): Displays event options.Programme +/-: More event infoNow/Next ScheduleOptions (OK button): Displays event options.Event Details (Info button): Displays detailedinformation about selected events.Programme +/-: More event infoFilter (Blue button): Views filtering options.Event OptionsUse the directional buttons to highlight an event andpress OK button to display Event Options menu. Thefollowing options are available.Select Channel: Using this option, you can switch tothe selected channel.Set Timer on Event / Delete Timer on Event: Afteryou have selected an event in the EPG menu, press theOK button. Select Set Timer on Event option and pressthe OK button. You can set a timer for future events.To cancel an already set timer, highlight that event andpress the OK button. Then select Delete Timer onEvent option. The timer will be cancelled.Software UpgradeYour TV is capable of finding and updating automaticallyvia the broadcast signal.Software upgrade search via user interfaceOn the main menu choose Settings and select OtherSettings. Navigate to Software Upgrade.3 AM search and upgrade modeYour TV will search for new upgrades at 3:00 o’clock ifAutomatic scanning option in the Upgrade optionsmenu is set to Enabled and if the TV is connected toan aerial signal.Note: If the TV fails to come on after the upgrade, unplug,wait for two minutes then plug it back in.
