Maintenance/replacementENGLISH - 55 MaintenanceReplacing the unitAir filtersJThe air filter should be replaced when cleaning is ineffective.A replacement air filter unit is available separately. (service component)Contact your dealer for the optional air filters.Also, please replace the air filters together when replacing the lamp unit.The air filters (Part Number: Longer filter with 5 rows of intake vents H518PC13G041, Shorter filter with3 rows of intake vents H518PC12G041) are included with the [ET-LAL330 / ET-LAL340] replacement lamp unit.Replacement of the air filtersJTurn off the projector, and remove the AC power plug from the AC outlet.1 )Clean up the dust on the projector and around the air vents.2 )Pull out the air filters straight and slowly with grabbing the knobs.3 )Install the new air filters (Replacement air filters).4 ) Hold the air filters with the protrusion up towards the top panel as shown in the picture and insert them untilzyou hear a "click" sound.Reset the [Filter Reminder].5 ) Turn on the power and perform [Cleaning up Reminder] in the [Options] menu.z (Æpage 44)AttentionTurn off the power before you replace the air filters.zWhen attaching the air filter unit, make sure that the projector is stable, and work in an environment that is safe, even in thezevent of the air filter unit dropping.Do not operate the projector with the air filter unit removed. Dust may accumulate on the optical elements degrading picturezquality.Do not put anything into the air vents.
