Remove contents from carton and open lid of the unit with barrellock key.Note: key is removable only when lid is locked; seeFigure 1.2. To access inside of the unit during mounting and adjusting the lidcan be temporarily propped open by using a screwdriver or similarobject in the manner shown inFigure 2.3. Position unit in desired location and mark spots of the fourmounting holes. For best results, use the actual housing to obtainplacements of mounting holes. The hole location diagrams arefor general references only.4. Prepare spots marked on mounting surfaces as required byapplicable building codes before mounting the unit.5. Pass electrical and video cables through the access hole on backof the unit, or use any of the knockout hole(s), then secure unit inplace with appropriate hardware.6. Complete electrical and video connections with camera beforeattaching camera to camera bracket with the hex bolt. !Note:Use with Class 2 power supply only.7. To achieve desired camera position, adjust hex bolt and slottedscrew with proper tools.Figure 3 shows the three directions inwhich the camera & the bracket can be maneuvered.Note: placelens of the camera as close to viewing window as possible so asto provide adequate room in the back for cables & connectors. Inaddition, the use of a right angle coax connector is stronglyrecommended as it greatly reduces strain on coax cable connectionwith camera.8.
