22 SQT0080“HDMI CEC”This unit supports “HDMI CEC” (ConsumerElectronics Control) function.You can use this function by connecting theequipment with an HDMI cable*. See theowner’s manuals for connected equipment foroperational details.* [BDT460] : Only when connecting via an HDMI AV OUTMAIN terminal on this unit.Preparation1 Set “HDMI CEC” to “On” (> 28). (The defaultsetting is “On”.)2 Set the “HDMI CEC” operations on theconnected equipment (e.g., TV).3 Turn on all “HDMI CEC” compatibleequipment and select this unit’s input channelon the connected TV so that the “HDMI CEC”function works properly.Repeat this procedure when theconnections or settings are changed.When the unit starts playback, the TV willautomatically switch the input channel and thescreen of the unit will be displayed.Additionally when the TV is off, the TV willautomatically turn on.All connected equipment compatible with “HDMICEC”, including this unit, automatically turns offwhen you switch the TV off.≥ This unit supports the “HDMI CEC” (Consumer ElectronicsControl) function.
