When you use a computer,observe the following to keep yourself from getting tired:Good Working PostureYou have good posture if the following are satisfied when you use acomputer:• You sit on a chair with your back straight.• Your hands are parallel with the floor when you put them on thekeyboard.• You look at the screen slightly lower than your eye height.You have "good working posture" as described in the above when no partof your body is under excess strain, in other words when your muscles aremost relaxed.You have "bad posture" when you sit with your back hunched up or youoperate a display unit with your face close to the screen. Bad workingposture may cause eye strain or poor eyesight.Adjustment of Display Unit AnglesMost display units are designed for adjustment of the horizontal andvertical angles. This adjustment is important to prevent the screen fromreflecting bright lights and to make the display contents easy to see. Youwill not be able to keep "good working posture" and you will feel more tiredthan you should if you operate a display unit without adjusting horizontaland vertical angles.Adjustment of Screen Brightness and ContrastThe display unit has brightness and contrast adjustment functions. Themost suitable brightness and contrast depend on the individual and theworking environment (well-lighted room or insufficient light). Adjustbrightness and contrast so that the screen will be easy to see. Anextremely bright or dark screen will give a bad effect to your eyes.Adjustment of Keyboard AngleThe keyboard provided with the server is designed for adjustment of anangle. Adjust the keyboard angle at which the keyboard is easy to operate.The adjustment assists in reducing strain on your shoulders, arms, andfingers.Cleaning of EquipmentClean equipment regularly. It is difficult to see the display contents on adusty screen. Keeping equipment clean is also important for your sight.Fatigue and RestIf you feel tired, you should stop working and do light exercises.
