18 Part Number 040005626 5/17RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY COVERAGEWHAT DOES THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVER?Subject to the exclusions and limitations below, Welbiltwarrants to the original consumer that any new icemachine manufactured by Welbilt (the “Product”) shallbe free of defects in material or workmanship for thewarranty period outlined below under normal use andmaintenance, and upon proper installation and start-up in accordance with the instruction manual suppliedwith the Product.HOW LONG DOES THIS LIMITED WARRANTYLAST?Product CoveredWarranty PeriodIce MachineTwelve (12) months from the sale dateWHO IS COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY?This limited warranty only applies to the originalconsumer of the Product and is not transferable.WHAT ARE WELBILT’S OBLIGATIONS UNDER THISLIMITED WARRANTY?If a defect arises and Welbilt receives a valid warrantyclaim prior to the expiration of the warranty period,Welbilt shall, at its option: (1) repair the Product atWelbilt’s cost, including standard straight time laborcharges, (2) replace the Product with one that is newor at least as functionally equivalent as the original, or(3) refund the purchase price for the Product.Replacement parts are warranted for 90 days or thebalance of the original warranty period, whichever islonger. The foregoing constitutes Welbilt’s soleobligation and the consumer’s exclusive remedy forany breach of this limited warranty. Welbilt’s liabilityunder this limited warranty is limited to the purchaseprice of Product. Additional expenses including,without limitation, service travel time, overtime orpremium labor charges, accessing or removing theProduct, or shipping are the responsibility of theconsumer.
