6English5. Maintain power tools and accessories. Check formisalignment or binding of moving parts, break-age of parts and any other condition that mayaffect the power tool’s operation. If damaged,have the power tool repaired before use. Manyaccidents are caused by poorly maintained powertools.6. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properlymaintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edgesare less likely to bind and are easier to control.7. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bitsetc. in accordance with these instructions, tak-ing into account the working conditions and thework to be performed. Use of the power tool foroperations different from those intended could resultin a hazardous situation.8. Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, cleanand free from oil and grease. Slippery handlesand grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handlingand control of the tool in unexpected situations.9. When using the tool, do not wear cloth workgloves which may be entangled. The entangle-ment of cloth work gloves in the moving parts mayresult in personal injury.Battery tool use and care1. Recharge only with the charger specified by themanufacturer. A charger that is suitable for onetype of battery pack may create a risk of fire whenused with another battery pack.2. Use power tools only with specifically desig-nated battery packs. Use of any other batterypacks may create a risk of injury and fire.3. When battery pack is not in use, keep it awayfrom other metal objects, like paper clips, coins,keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects,that can make a connection from one terminalto another. Shorting the battery terminals togethermay cause burns or a fire.4. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejectedfrom the battery; avoid contact. If contactaccidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquidcontacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritationor burns.5. Do not use a battery pack or tool that is dam-aged or modified. Damaged or modified batteriesmay exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fire,explosion or risk of injury.6. Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire orexcessive temperature. Exposure to fire or tem-perature above 130 °C may cause explosion.7. Follow all charging instructions and do notcharge the battery pack or tool outside thetemperature range specified in the instructions.Charging improperly or at temperatures outsidethe specified range may damage the battery andincrease the risk of fire.Service1. Have your power tool serviced by a qualifiedrepair person using only identical replacementparts. This will ensure that the safety of the powertool is maintained.2. Never service damaged battery packs. Serviceof battery packs should only be performed by themanufacturer or authorized service providers.3. Use only consumer grade water-based lawnand garden chemicals.■ Do not pour hot or boiling liquids into the tank.These can weaken or damage the hose or tank.■ Spray area must be well ventilated.■ Avoid spraying on windy days. Spray can beaccidentally blown onto plants or objects that shouldnot be sprayed.■ Store the sprayer in a secure, well-ventilatedindoor space with the fluid tank empty.■ Do not use caustic (alkali) self-heating or cor-rosive (acid) liquids in this sprayer. These cancorrode metal parts or weaken the tank and hose.■ Wear respiratory protection and appropriateprotective clothing. Keep bystanders away whenspraying. |
