Landscaping and night time lighting.11. Accessibility to equipment.12. Location and routing of power supply toSwim Spa and foot traffic.Indoor InstallationIn addition to the Outdoor installationconsideration, please also understand that thefollowing considerations apply when installingyour Swim Spa indoors:1. Indoor Swim Spa promote highhumidity. Using either ventilation fans orcommercial grade de-humidifiers will helpto reduce the humidity. Consult yourdealer for details.2. Floor drains must be provided near theSwim Spa to drain off water thatmay cause falls and /or water damage.Water will splash out of the Swim Spaduring normal use when swimming andwhen exiting the Swim Spa.3. Surface area of foundation pad andsurrounding area should be flat with anon-skid finish. Carpeting or otherporous materials may retain moisture,which leads to mold, mildew and odorsand is not recommended.4. Walls, ceilings, woodwork should be madeof materials capable of withstanding highhumidity.5. MAAX® Spas only recommends the use of aconcrete foundation pad to support yourSwim Spa. If you intend to install yourSwim Spa in an area where you cannotutilize a concrete foundation pad, youmust consult with a structural engineerto ensure the floor load bearing capacitiesare adequate to support the concentratedSwim Spa weight, the weight of theSwim Spa occupants, and any furnitureor people that will be using the immediatearea of the Swim Spa.6. During shipment from the factory,plumbing components may loosen;therefore it is imperative that theSwim Spa is double checked for leaksbefore installing to avoid possible waterdamage. Your dealer may include thisservice in their installation procedures.7. Indoor sun rooms are capable ofmaintaining high ambient temperatureswhich may affect the Swim Spa watertemperature. It is NOT recommended thatyou operate your filter cycles for longerthan 4 hours per day under theseconditions.Danger: Electrical shock risk. Install at least5 feet (1.5 m) from all metal surfaces.
