2-8MOUNTING THE DISHWASHER1. Install the faucet (not included). The dish-washer is shipped ready for installation ofa one-hole faucet. If a two-, three- or four-hole faucet is to be installed, the holesmust be added by a qualified plumberaccording to the faucet manufacturer’sspecifications.2. Apply a 1/4″ bead of silicone caulk aroundbottom of rim.Rim1/4″ BeadOf SiliconeCaulk3. Set the dishwasher into the countertopcutout. Make sure that the front of thedishwasher is parallel to the front edge ofthe countertop. Install two clamp brackets, evenly spaced,on the front, back, and left (sink) sideclamp rails. Tighten the clamps.Optional: If space permits, install two clampbrackets, evenly spaced, on the right siderail.CONNECTING THE PLUMBING1. Connect the sink and dishwasher drainplumbing.3. Connect the dishwasher water fill line, asfollows:• Slide the nut onto the copper tubingabout 1″.• Slide the ferrule onto the tubing. Do notposition the ferrule on the end of thetubing.• Slide the tubing into the fill fitting as faras it will go.• Slide the nut and ferrule forward andstart the nut onto the elbow threads.NOTE: Be careful when handling thecopper tubing that you do not kink it.• Push the copper tubing into the elbowas far as it will go, and tighten the com-pression nut securely with a 5/8″ open-end wrench.4. Connect the hot and cold water lines to thefaucet.5. Turn on the water supply to the dish-washer and sink faucet and carefully checkfor leaks.6. Plug the power supply cord into a 3-pronggrounded outlet or turn on the power sup-ply.7. Apply Teflon tape or pipe joint com-pound to the 90° elbow fitting, and connectthe fitting to the water inlet valve.
