7 Sweep Function146 Keysight U8903A User’s GuideSweep settingsThe sweep settings page is shown as follows.Figure 7-3 Sweep settings pageThe sweep parameter selection will vary according to the selected waveform type.The sweep start and stop points, as well as the step size and number of points,can only be configured if the Auto Sweep or Manual Sweep mode is selected.The spot parameter panel will change according to the selected waveform typeand sweep parameter. Refer to “Appendix E: Spot Parameters” on page 166 forthe list of spot parameters.For the sweep spacing, you may select either linear or log interval. You may alsoset the dwell time which represents the delay for each measurement to be takenduring the sweep.NOTE – Multitone and arbitrary waveform functions are not applicable in the sweepmode.– Amplitude values set on the sweep settings page are assumed to be RMSvalues.
