The 34970A/34972A is supported onautomated calibration systems which allow Keysight to provide this service atcompetitive prices.Calibration IntervalThe instrument should be calibrated on a regular interval determined by themeasurement accuracy requirements of your application.A 1-year interval is adequate for most applications. Accuracy specifications arewarranted only if adjustment is made at regular calibration intervals. Accuracyspecifications are not warranted beyond the 1-year calibration interval. Keysightdoes not recommend extending calibration intervals beyond 2 years for anyapplication.Adjustment is RecommendedWhatever calibration interval you select, Keysight recommends that completere-adjustment should always be performed at the calibration interval. This willassure that the 34970A/34972A will remain within specification for the nextcalibration interval. This criteria for re-adjustment provides the best long-termstability. Performance data measured using this method can be used to extendfuture calibration intervals.Use the Calibration Count feature (see page 74) to verify that all adjustments havebeen performed.
