STATus:OPERation[:EVENt]?SyntaxSTATus:OPERation[:EVENt]?DescriptionThis command queries the event register for the Standard Operation Register group. This is a read-onlyregister and the bits are cleared when you read the register.For more information on the SCPI Status System for the Keysight 34450A, see the Status SystemDiagram.Remarks— The following table lists the bit definitions for the Standard Operation Register.Bit Number Decimal Value Definition0 Calibration in Progress 1 Instrument is performing a calibration.1-3 Not Used Not Used "0" is returned.4 Measuring 16 Instrument is initiated, and is making, or about to make a measurement.5 Waiting for Trigger 32 Instrument is waiting for a trigger.6-7 Not Used Not Used "0" is returned.8 Configuration Change 256 Instrument configuration has been changed, either from the front panelor from SCPI.9-15 Not Used Not Used "0" is returned.— Once a bit is set, it remains set until cleared by reading the event register or the *CLS (clear status) com-mand.— The *RST and *PSC commands have no effect on this register.Return FormatThe command reads the event register and returns a decimal value which corresponds to the binary-weighted sum of all bits set in the register.
