Installation 1Network Analyzer 31Step 2. Next, if necessary, turn off power supply to thepower cable receptacle (Line Switch) on the rear panel.Disconnection from Supply SourceThe power supply of the E5061B is cut off by disconnectingthe plug of the power cable (on either AC outlet side orE5061B side). When it is necessary to disconnect the powersupply in order to avoid shock hazards, etc., pull out thepower cable plug from either the AC outlet side or theE5061B side.NOTE Under normal use, never directly interrupt the power supply to the powercable receptacle on the rear panel when the power supply is on. Alwayskeep the Line Switch ON and never turn it.If you directly interrupt the power supply to the power cable receptaclewhen the power supply is on, or turn off the Line Switch, the shutdownprocess will not work. This could damage the software and hardware ofthe E5061B and lead to device failure.Turning on the power supply after a faulty shutdown may cause thesystem to start up in a condition called "safe mode." If this occurs, firstshut down the system to set it to the standby state and then turn on thepower supply again to start up the system in normal mode.Figure 5 Line switch (Always ON) and power cable receptaclee5061b061VIDEOGPIBTEST SET I/FSerial Labe lWindows LabelE5061B10 MHz4ICES/NMB-001WARNING:No operator serviceable parts inside.Refer servicing to qualified personnel.50/60 Hz 300 VA MaxLINE115 VPower Cable ReceptacleLine Switch: Always ON ( | )
