18 Network Analyzer1 InstallationChecking the ShipmentAfter you receive the analyzer, carry out checks duringunpacking according to the following procedure.Step 1. Check that the packing box or shock-absorbingmaterial used to package the analyzer has not beendamaged.Step 2. Check the packaged items supplied with theanalyzer for any damage or defects.Step 3. By referring to the furnished contents list, checkthat all packaged items supplied with the analyzer have beenreceived as per the specified options.Step 4. After checking, if one of the following applies,contact your nearest Keysight Technologies sales and serviceoffice.1 The packing box or shock-absorbing material used topackage the analyzer has been damaged or theshock-absorbing material has traces where extreme forcehas been applied.2 A packaged item supplied with the analyzer hasmechanical damage or defects.3 A packaged item supplied with the analyzer is missing.4 A fault has been detected in the subsequent operationcheck of the analyzer.If an abnormality is detected in step 1, contact thecompany that transported the analyzer as well as yournearest Keysight Technologies sales and service office. ForWARNING When unpacking the analyzer, if the exterior of the analyzer (suchas the cover, front/rear panel, LCD screen, power switch, and portconnectors) appear to be damaged during transport, do not turnon the power switch. Otherwise, you may get an electric shock.NOTE If the packing box or shock-absorbing material has been damaged, leave thepacking box and shock-absorbing material as is until other inspection itemsare checked as follows.
