Contactbuilder or installer to make appliance accessible.• Carpet interferes with appliance. Provide sufficientspace so appliance can be lifted over carpet.Problem SolutionAppliance is not level • Be sure floor is level, strong & stable enough toadequately support appliance.• If floor is sagging or sloping, contact a carpenter tocorrect the situation.• Poor installation. Place oven rack in center of oven.Place a level on the oven rack. Adjust leveling legs atbase of appliance until the oven rack is level.• Kitchen cabinet alignment may make appliance appearnot level. Be sure cabinets are square & have sufficientroom for appliance clearance.Before you call• Surface control knob has not been completely turnedto (lite). Push in and turn the surface control knob tolite until burner ignites and then turn control knob todesired flame size.• Burner ports are clogged. With the burners OFF, use asmall-gauge wire or needle to clean ports. See“Cleaning cooktop and parts” in the Care and Cleaningsection for complete instructions.• Appliance power cord is disconnected from outlet. Besure power cord is securely plugged into the electricaloutlet.• Electrical power outage.Surface burners do not light• Burner ports are clogged. With the burner OFF, cleanports by using a small-gauge wire or needle.• Moisture is present after cleaning. Lightly fan the flameand allow burner to operate until flame is full.
