This project type will allow you tocollect individual spectra.A. Sample nameEach sample that you collect can be named for later identification.B. Time to scanUse this box to specify the sampling duration for each spectrum. A typical spectralacquisition is 120 s.C. SamplesIf you wish to make several measurements of a single sample, specify the number in theSamples box. The instrument will make successive scans of the same sample.D. Collect SampleClick this button to begin sampling. As each measurement is collected, the Samples boxwill automatically decrease to show the number that remain to be collected. Samples areautomatically saved to the current project – there is no separate ‘Save’ action.E. Data panelAfter each sample has been collected, information about it will appear in this panel.
