The best insurance against an accident is precau-tion and knowledge of the machine.IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATIONGasoline engines on mobile or portable equipmentshall be refueled:a. outdoors;b. with the engine on the equipment stopped;c. with no source of ignition within 10 feet ofthe dispensing point; andd. with an allowance made for expansion of thefuel should the equipment be exposed to ahigher ambient temperature.In an overfilling situation, additional precautions arenecessary to ensure that the situation is handledin a safe manner.WARNING: Risk of injury. Disconnect batteryground terminal before servicing.8. When in use , do not place machine near flammableobjects as the engine is hot.9. Oil burning appliances shall be installed only inlocations where combustible dusts and flammablegases or vapors are not present. Do not store oruse gasoline near this machine.10. Use No. 1 or No. 2 heating oil (ASTM D306) only.NEVER use gasoline in your fuel oil tank. Gasolineis more combustible than fuel oil and could resultin a serious explosion. NEVER use crankcase orwaste oil in your burner. Fuel unit malfunction couldresult from contamination.11. Do not confuse gasoline and fuel oil tanks.
