Report shortages,if any, to your distributor. Note: Check lathefirst – some parts may have been pre-installed.4. Exposed metal areas of the Lathe, such asbedways and spindles, have been factorycoated with a protectant. This should beremoved with a soft cloth and a cleaner-degreaser. Clean the bed areas underheadstock, tailstock and tool support base. If you desire to install the riser blocks for a 4”height increase, mount them to bottom of legsusing fasteners (HP006/5/7) Tighten firmly.2. Install adjustable feet into bottom of legs orriser blocks (Figure 5-2) and tighten hex nutagainst leg casting. Straps/lifting mechanismsmust be properly rated for lathe weight.
