EN 57TIMER RECORDING ON HDD/DVD DECKYou can program this unit to timer-record as many as32 programs.If you do not know the VCR Plus+ number for the program youwish to record, use the following procedure to set your unit totimer-record the program.1 Load a recordable disc if recording to DVD.2 Press PROGRAM to access the program top screen.3 Press rtw e to select “CALENDAR PR.”, then press ENTER.● When “PROGRAM FULL DELETE UNWANTED TIMERPROGRAMS” appears on the TV screen, you need to cancel some ofthe reserved programs. ( pg. 58)4 Press rtw e to select the desired date, then press ENTER.5 Press rt to select “RECORDTO”, then press ENTER. Pressrt to select the desiredrecording deck, then pressENTER.6 Press rt to select “START”,then press ENTER. Press rt toset the desired start time, thenpress ENTER.● Each press of rt increases/decreases the start time in 1-minuteinterval.● To increase/decrease the start time in 30-minutes interval, press andhold rt.7 Press rt to select “STOP”, then press ENTER. Press rt toset the desired stop time, then press ENTER.● Each press of rt increases/decreases the stop time in 1-minuteinterval.● To increase/decrease the stop time in 30-minutes interval, press andhold rt.8 Press rt to select “SOURCE”, then press ENTER. Press rtto select the desired source, then press ENTER.● To select the desired source, the respective settings must be set,refer to ‘Source Selection’ ( pg. 57).9 Press rt to select “CH”, then press ENTER. Press rt toselect the desired channel.10 Press rt to select “CONFIRM”, then press ENTER.11 Set the other recording options as required.● Refer to step 8 in “VCR Plus+ C3® Timer Programming” ( pg. 55).12 Press rt to select “OK”,then press ENTER to access theProgram Confirmation screen.13 Press w e to select “EXIT”,then press ENTER to completetimer programming.● To program another timer, pressw e to select “CONTINUE”, thenpress ENTER.● If “PROGRAM OVERLAPPED” appears on the TV screen, seepage 58.NOTES:● When two successive programs are recorded on a DVD-RW discwith Manual Timer Programming function, the beginning of thesecond one may be left off the recording.● If the copy limited program is received during timer-recording, the unitenters Record Pause mode.
