EN 51BASIC OPERATIONS ON VHS DECKStill Picture/Frame-By-Frame Playback1 Press 9 to pause during playback.● If there is vertical jitter, press CH +/– to correct the picture.2 Press 9 to activate frame-by-frame playback.● To resume normal playback, press 4.Slow Motion1 Press 9 to pause during playback.2 Press and hold 9 for 2 seconds, then release. Press 9 andrelease again to return to still picture.● The speed changes for each direction by pressing 3 and 5repeatedly.● To resume normal playback, press 4.NOTE:During slow motion playback, some noise may appear on the TVscreen. Press CH + or – to eliminate the noises.High-Speed SearchDuring playback, press 5 for forward high-speed search, or3 for reverse high-speed search.● Each press of the button increases the search speed for eachdirection.When pressing 5:(SP): +5x{+7x(EP): +11x{+21xWhen pressing 3:Once 3 is pressed, reverse search starts in –1x normal playbackspeed. After this process, each press of 3 changes the searchspeed between –5x and –7x in SP mode, –11x and –21x in EP mode.(SP): –1x]–5x{–7x(EP): –1x]–11x{–21x● To resume normal playback, press 4.Quick Rewind A LittleDuring playback (or Live Memory Playback), press . The unitrewinds the picture a little (about 7 seconds) and resumesplayback.● If the button is pressed repeatedly, the unit rewinds the picturescontinuously and resumes playback.Skip SearchDuring playback, press 1 to 6 times to skip over unwantedsections.● Each press initiates an approximately 30-second period of fast-motion playback. Normal playback resumes automatically.● To resume normal playback, press 4.Index SearchYour unit automatically marksindex codes at the beginning ofeach recording.
