4 Operation4.1 Main switchWARNING: Read the safetyinstructions carefully before you startthe product.WARNING: Keep your hands and feetaway from the rotating blades. Neverput your hands or feet close to orunder the product when the motor isrunning.WARNING: Do not use the productwhen persons, especially children, oranimals, are in the work area.• Set the Main switch in the1 position to startthe product.• Set the Main switch in the0 position whenthe product is not in use or before any work,inspection or maintenance is being carriedout.When the Main switch is set in the0 positionthe motors on the product cannot start.4.2 To start the product1. Press the STOP button to open the hatch.2. Set the main switch to position1.3. Enter the PIN code.4. Press the START button.5. Select the desired operating mode. Refer toOperating mode - Start on page 35.6. Close the hatch within 10 seconds.If the product is parked in the chargingstation, it will only leave the charging stationwhen the battery is fully charged and if thetimer is set to allow the product to operate.Note: Always press the START button beforeclosing the hatch to start the product.4.3 Operating mode - StartWhen the START button has been pushed thefollowing operation selections can be selected.• Main area• Secondary area• Override timer• Spot cutting4.3.1 Main areaMain area is the standard operating mode wherethe product mows and charges automatically.4.3.2 Override timerThe timer settings can be temporarily overriddenby selectingOverride timer. It is possible tooverride the timer for 24 h or 3 days.4.3.3 Secondary areaIn theSecondary area mode, the productoperates until the battery is empty.When the battery is empty, the product stops andthe messageNeeds manual charging shows inthe product display.
