English – 1069Remaining in this cable is the seat switch, whichis also supplied with +5 V. Here, the orange cablemust be checked to see that it is not in contact withGND at the seat switch, if the machine has version2 of the cutting motor control, so that the chassis isconnected to GND.If no fault can be seen here either, the orange leadmust be measured to GND, see item 10.10Again, unplug the flat pin connector with +5 Vbetween Cables 1 and 2. With an ohmmeter, measure between the orange lead and the chassisto make sure there is no contact. Then measurebetween the orange lead and the common GNDconnection on the rear carriage where all the blueleads go.If there is a low resistance to GND or the chassis, all the connections with orange leads in Cable 2must be disconnected and then measure again theresistance to GND and chassis. If there is still alow resistance, there is some contact with GND orchassis along the orange lead in the cable, in-spect the cable thoroughly for a short circuit on theorange lead. In order to have a current higher than1 A, which is the limit for when CCU shuts down its+5 V output, the resistance to GND must be lowerthan 100 ohms between the orange lead and GND.Seat switch+5VOhm+5V wire from harnesses 2.GNDCommon pointCST Autotest
