Operation on theGMRS frequencies is subject to rulesas specified in 47 CFR Part 95.In order to transmit on GMRSfrequencies, you are required to obtaina license from the FCC. An individual18 years of age or older, who is not arepresentative of a foreign government,is eligible to apply for a GMRS license.To apply for a GMRS license, youneed FCC Form 605 (605 Main Formand Schedule F) and FCC Form 159.Download the application forms fromthe FCC web site at: http://www.fcc.gov/Forms/.
