145Utility PageThe utility page provides access (via “menu options”) to checklists, a count down/uptimer, trip timers, trip statistics, RAIM (Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring) pre-diction, sunrise/sunset time calculations and software/database version information.Whena menu option is selected, the corresponding page will appear providing additionalinformation and features.To select a menu option from the utility page:1. Press the small right knob (r) momentarily, to activate the flashing cursor.2. Rotate the large right knob (d) to select the desired menu option, and press E.The following menu options are available:Checklists— provides up to nine different user-defined checklists containing up to 30items each.Flight Timers— provides count up/down timers, plus automatic recording of depar-ture time and total trip time. Departure and total trip time recording can be configuredto run either any time GNS 430 power is on, or only when your ground speed exceeds 30knots.Trip Statistics— provides readouts for trip odometers, average speed and maximumspeed.
