See installation instructions shippedwith the bracket for complete details beforeattempting to install.For Free-Standing RangesTo check if the bracket is installed, ensurethere is no cookware on top of the range and allsurfaces are cool to the touch. Carefully slideout the range from the wall approximately threeinches. Look behind the range to see if there isa metal bracket attached to the floor or the wall. To check if the bracket is installed correctly, grasp the back ofthe range, being careful not to grab or bend the rear trim piece. Tilt the range forwardslightly and confirm the anti-tip bracket engages the back of the range, limiting theforward tip of the range. If the anti-tip bracket does not engage the range and preventit from tipping, verify the anti-tip bracket has been properly installed.
