Failure to follow these instructions may resultin fire, electrical shock, serious injury or death.ANTI-TIP DEVICETo reduce the risk of tipping the range, the rangemust be secured by a properly installed anti-tipbracket. See installation instructions shippedwith the bracket for complete details beforeattempting to install.For Free-Standing RangesTo check if the bracket is installed, ensurethere is no cookware on top of the range and allsurfaces are cool to the touch. Carefully slideout the range from the wall approximately threeinches. Look behind the range to see if there isa metal bracket attached to the floor or the wall. To check if the bracket is installed correctly, grasp the back ofthe range, being careful not to grab or bend the rear trim piece. Tilt the range forwardslightly and confirm the anti-tip bracket engages the back of the range, limiting theforward tip of the range. If the anti-tip bracket does not engage the range and preventit from tipping, verify the anti-tip bracket has been properly installed. If this does notsolve the problem or the anti-tip bracket is not present, call 800.626.8774 in the US or800.561.3344 in Canada.If the range is pulled from the wall for any reason, always repeat this procedure to verifythe range is properly secured by the anti-tip bracket.Never completely remove the leveling legs or the range will not be secured to the anti-tipdevice properly.Anti-TipBracketFree-Standing Ranges• A child or adult can tip the range and be killed.• Verify the anti-tip bracket has been properlyinstalled and engaged.• Ensure the anti-tip bracket is re-engaged whenthe range is moved.• Do not operate the range without the anti-tip bracketin place and engaged.• Failure to do so can result in death or serious burnsto children or adults.Tip-Over HazardWARNING
