Exposure to thesesubstances can be minimized by ventingwith an open window or using a ventilationfan or hood.IMPORTANT: The health of some birds isextremely sensitive to the fumes given offduring the self-cleaning cycle of any oven.Move birds to another well-ventilated room.WARNING: SAFETY PRECAUTIONSWhen using your appliance, follow basicsafety precautions, including the following:• Have the installer show you the location ofthe range gas shut-off valve and how to turnit off if necessary.• Be sure all packing materials are removedfrom the range before operating it to preventfire or smoke damage should the packingmaterial ignite.• After prolonged use of a range, high floortemperatures may result and many floorcoverings will not withstand this kind of use.Never install the range over vinyl tile orlinoleum that cannot withstand such use.Never install it directly over interior kitchencarpeting.• Locate the range out of kitchen traffic pathand out of drafty locations and areas withpoor air circulation.WARNING:• All ranges can tip.• BURNS or other SERIOUSINJURIES can result.• INSTALL and CHECK theanti-tip bracket following theinstructions supplied with thebracket.To reduce the risk of tipping the range, the rangemust be secured by a properly installed anti-tipbracket. See installation instructions shipped withthe bracket for complete details beforeattempting to install.To check if the bracket is installed and engagedproperly, carefully tip the range forward.
