PLACing A CALL using the nAme, number or Address Tap Call Tap the Search or Dial field ()This will produce the virtual keyboard. Tap ABCto switch to the QWERTY keyboard and tap123 to switch to the numeric keyboard.Key in the name, number or address. TapThe Directory serves as your corporatephone book. This directory cannot be editedby you. You may, however, copy entries toyour list of favorites and edit them there.Tap Contacts (if needed) and then tapDirectory. The directory is typicallyorganized as folders. Tap a folder () to show its contents, scroll() if needed to locate a folder or an entrywithin a folder.Once located, tap the entry to call, edit oradd to your list of favorites in the same wayas with the history list.Note! It may happen that an entry copiedfrom the directory to the list of favorites lateris updated in the directory. This update willnot be reflected in your list of favorites—youmust then manually update the entry in thelist of favorites.using direCtoryFavorites is your own shortlist of contactsyou frequently call or otherwise want to haveeasy access to.To add someone to the Favorites, locate theperson (or location) in Directory or Historyand tap that entry (). This will produce adialog box which allows you to tap Add toFavorites (). You may now edit the entry, if needed—just tap a field and the keyboard will beproduced. Tap Save to put changes intoeffect.using FAvoritesYou may search for entries (numbers orURIs). Searches will be conducted withinall the folders, i.e. within the Favorites, theDirectory and the History.Tap in the Search or Dial field and keyin the name, URI or number. Matches willappear as you search.Once located, tap the entry to call, edit oradd to your list of favorites.Note! When searching within the corporatedirectory, the search will apply to the currentdirectory folder and its subfolders only.To go one level up, tap Back. To makethe search apply to the entire corporatedirectory, do not enter (tap) any folder beforethe search is commenced.seArChingCalling two others at the same time to initiatea video conference is an optional feature. Ifyour system permits it you may set up thetwo particpants to call in advance and thencall them both in one go.1. Enter a name, number or address, orpick an entry from the Directory, thelist of Favorites, or from the History.2. Tap Add to add the entry to the list ofparticipants to be called. The entry willappear along the bottom line of thetouch pad, as outlined.3. Repeat the procedure to add moreparticipants. The maximum number ofparticipants possible will depend onyour system configuration.4.
