Chapter 11-91.6 Basic Operation1.6.1 Operation Panel 0013-0043This section explains the functions of the buttons and the meanings of the LEDs on the operation panel.F-1-17[1] DisplayThis display shows the printer menus, statues, and messages.[2] Data lamp (green)Flashing: When the printer is printing, this lamp indicates that the printer is receiving or processing a print job.When the printer is not printing, this lamp indicates that the print job is paused or firmware data is being received.Off: This indicates that there is no print job.[3] Message lamp (orange)On: This indicates that a warning message is displayed.Flashing: This indicates that an error message is displayed.Off: This indicates that the printer is normal or the power is turned off.[4] Auto Feed lamp (green)On: This indicates that the cassette or roll media is selected as the paper source.Off: This indicates that the paper tray or thick paper feed slot is selected as the paper source.[5] Paper Tray lamp (green)On: This indicates that the paper tray or thick paper feed slot is selected as the paper source.Off: This indicates that the cassette or roll media is selected as the paper source.[6] Paper Source buttonThis button is used to select a paper source.
